Memorial Day

We kind of last minute decided to take a trip to the beach after some shopping. So, the only one with a swimsuit was McKinley because we had just bought her a new one. Brennan was asleep when we got there and slept great in my arms for awhile. He really slept good with the sound of waves in the background.

Our Time In Charleston

It has been awhile since I've posted. We have been in Charleston for 3 weeks and have been busy exploring the area and of course....shopping!

Here are some pics from our adventures so far.

Dang Swine Flu

This swine flu had to go and mess everything up didn't it???

If it isn't the flooding rain, then it is the flu. My husband finally comes home after 3 months in Italy and this is what we get. UGH!! We had SO many plans for the next two weeks and now they are totally ruined. Can't take the kids to the Ft. Worth zoo tommorrow like planned, they shut down all Ft. Worth schools for the next week and a half because of some cases. The Aquarium is out of the question now too. My husband is even reconsidering our date night out this weekend. By golly, no flu and flood is keeping me from my night out with the hubby after three months of being a single momma.

Weekend in Houston

Me, my mom, and the kids spent last weekend visiting the brother and Ashley. After what seemed like a 10 hour car ride, we arrived and I don't think we sat still for the next four days. McKinley was in heaven being with her Bubba and Ashwee and Brennan had fun chasing Maddie around and trying to get into everything possible. We really enjoyed the "family fun" Day in the Country. The weather was nice and there was lots of people watching to be done (that always makes for a good time). McKinley got to run around and Brennan tried to eat grass. Overall, we had a nice time as we always do when we go for a visit.

And it all begins...

Well, I've thought about starting one of these for awhile and never got around to it. After my brother and his wife started one, and told me I needed to do the same, I've decided to give in and give it a try. Now let's just hope I can keep it up.
